Shillelagh railway station opened on 22 May 1865 at the end of a branchline from Woodenbridge via Aughrim and Tinahely. Constructed by the Dublin,

A Grade I listed building, itwas opened in 1868 by the Midland Railway as the southern terminus of its main line,

Lismore was first served by rail when the independent Fermoy & Lismore Railway connected the town with that of the already existing Great Southern &
Adjoining an hotel by the Dundalk, Newry & Greenore Railway in the 1870s as Greenore was becoming an important transit point with the completion of the railway and the growth of its harbour.
Bellarena railway station opened on 18 July 1853. It was closed for goods traffic from 4 January 1965.
