Cormac’s Chapel, consecrated in 1134, is the most important building on the Rock of Cashel, from an architectural point of view.

Hore Abbey is a ruined Cistercan monastery near the Rock of Cashel, County Tipperary, Republic of Ireland. Hore Abbey is distinctive among Irish Cistercian monasteries in that the cloister lies to the north.
Surviving west gable of the 12th-century Romanesque church in Roscrea. This church was in use until 1812 when most of it was demolished with the exception of this gable.
Originally built around 1200, complete destruction of the abbey in 1445 led it its rebuilding. The main part of the abbey consists of the Entrance Chamber,
Medieval tower house, similar to many across Ireland, that was built to control a river crossing of the Suir. A small fragment of the east gate of the town wall is still attached to the north wall of the castle.
