House built for Captain O’Hara at a reported cost of £3,500 according to the Dublin Builder.
Cruciform gothic church adjacent to the Jesuit College. Designed by Samuel Ussher Roberts, originally the intention was to have the church and school built to designs of J.J.
Kylemore Abbey, now the home of Benedictine nuns, stands at the edge of the lake surrounded by woodlands.
Constructed for Edmond de la Poer, whose family has held land here from Norman times.
Creagh House was built by Colonel Knox in 1875, ‘beautiful manor house to the right of the French chateau lately occupied by his predecessor’
