1830 – Monkstown Church of Ireland, Co. Dublin Architect: John Semple & John McCurdy Originally built in 1789, but re-modelled in 1830 by John Semple, the Church of Ireland in Monkstown is an extravagant piece of 19th century church architecture.
1843 – Salthill Hotel, Monkstown, Co. Dublin Architect: John Skipton Mulvany, John McCurdy Designed by J.S. Mulvany for the Dublin & Kingstown Railway Co., around 1836 but not constructed until 1843.
1859 – Monkstown House, Monkstown, Co. Dublin Architect: Carmichael & Jones / Charles H. Ashworth Monkstown House was designed by Carmichael & Jones for William Harvey Pim in an Italianate style.
1866 – St. Patrick’s Church, Monkstown, Co. Dublin Architect: Pugin & Ashlin From the Dublin-based magazine the “Dublin Builder” of 1st September 1865, “This church, which is at present in course of erection is in the French Pointed style.
1881 – Gate Lodge, Dalguise, Monkstown, Co. Dublin Architect: William Mitchell Design exhibited at the RHA Exhibition of 1881 and published in The Irish Builder, November 1 1881.
1904 – Knox Memorial Hall, Monkstown, Co. Dublin Architect: Millar & Symes Erected by Mrs Alice Knox in memory of her husband, Capt. Edward Chaloner Knox, at a cost of nearly £4,000.
