Former branch of the Munster & Leinster Bank, later replaced by a building completed in 1925.
Long established and rambling cluster of hotel buildings, almost ike a small village along a small and scenic harbour.
Ornate Victorian hotel with retail units at ground level. The building was largely rebuilt and extended during 1910-11 after a large fire.
Fine imposing building looking down Pearse Square from Patrick Street. Has changed little from old postcards yet seems strangely unloved and uncared for.
One of a series of what The Irish Builder called interviews, but to modern eyes are more of a biographical piece as they contain little personal opinion from the subject.
