Preliminary designs for new Dublin Central Library unveiled
Some images for the new Parnell Square library designed by Grafton Architects and Shaffrey Associates have been published on Dublin Inquirer. The designs show the mixture of old and new buildings to be created out of the terrace of Parnell Street North. Behind the existing buildings from No.27 to the Hugh Lane Gallery will be a substantial new building will house roughly half of the new library.
