InactiveI dunno. I visited recently and really enjoyed the tour and the surroundings. The building felt more like an attraction than i have previously found it. The model of the former demense is fascinating, as is the Paradise Lost exhibits.
I get the point about colour and period detailing. That’s probably true, but the colour can be changed back again.
The floor covering is disappointing but the floor gets a lot of rough treatment from endless shoes over it. Isn’t it practical that’s is covered – although some exposed areas should be facilitated. Personally thing walking around in dust shoes is impractical for 100’s of people on a daily basis.
The Casino is still a beautiful sight…and I am very proud to have it so close. Some furniture and paintings inside the building would add to the appreciation of it in my view.
