Perspective view, plan & section published in The Building News, December 13th 1916. Christ Church United Reformed Church, founded by William Hesketh Lever and opened on Wednesday 8th June 1904, is situated centrally in the picturesque garden village of Port Sunlight. Outside the church is the tomb of the 1st Viscount Leverhulme and his wife, situated in a richly detailed narthex with vaulted roof.
