Published in The Building News, November 13 1867. Between 1867 and 1868, Goulty designed the Brighton Hammam, a Victorian Turkish bath, for the newly formed Brighton Turkish Baths Company Ltd of which he was a shareholder. The Hammam was located at 57–59 West Street and cost £14,000. The exterior was described as “rising like some Moorish temple, resplendent with crimson and gilt”.
