1841 – Suspension Bridge, Kenmare, Co. Kerry Architect: William Bald Located across Kenmare Sound, and replacing a ferry service, the construction of the bridge took approximately one year and was completed in 1841.
1861 – Holy Cross Convent, Kenmare, Co. Kerry Architect: Charles F. Hansom The convent which opened in 1861 closed in the mid 1990s and has since been demolished.
1890 – Dromquinna House, Kenmare, Co. Kerry Architect: J.F. Fuller Constructed for Sir John Columb around 1889-90. Now run as a countryhouse hotel.
1894 – Great Southern Hotel, Kenmare, Co. Kerry Architect: J.F. Fuller Purpose built hotel constructed for the Great Southern Railways Company as part of their scheme to bring tourists to the Kerry area via their railway routes.
1933 – Bridge, Kenmare, Co. Kerry Architect: L.G. Mouchel & Partners Designed by London engineers, L.G. Mouchel & Partners in association with an Irish-based engineer Pierce Purcell,
2007 – Centre of Contemporary Irish Culture, Kenmare, Co. Kerry Architect: Niall McLaughlin Architects First unveiled in 2007, it was never clear where the funding for this vaguely titled centre was to come from.
