1887 – First Congregational Church, Appleton, Wisconsin Architect: Warren H. Hayes A lot on the southwest corner of Lawrence and Pearl (Oneida) Streets was purchased to replace the old location of First Congregational Church in the 1880s Construction of a new building,
1889 – Ormsby Hall, Lawrence University, Appleton, Wisconsin Architect: Warren H. Hayes Ormsby Hall, built in 1889, is the oldest residence hall on campus and houses 120 students.
1891 – Pabst Building, Milwaukee, Wisconsin Architect: Solon S. Beman Built in 1891, it was Milwaukee’s first skyscraper, and was the tallest building in Milwaukee until the Milwaukee City Hall was finished four years later.
2001 – Quadracci Pavilion, Milwaukee Art Gallery, Wisconsin Architect: Santiago Calatrava The Milwaukee Art Museum’s expansion project, completed in October 2001, has significantly expanded the Museum’s role as a comprehensive art institution and strengthened its position as a cultural cornerstone for the Milwaukee community and region.
