Interior view published in The Building News, July 16th 1886. The church is still in use today and was built as designed.
Claines’ original Norman Church was rebuilt in the 15th century. Little of the original remains other than the Norman Font and a Norman Pillar in the tower.
Unbuilt competition entry – the winning design was built by by J.W, Simpson and Milner Allen and opened in 1896.
