The former Central Bank building is sited at the end of Foster Place. Until recently the Bank of Ireland Art Centre, and afterwards a tawdry tourist attraction. A simple classical style, the building has an excellent and vigourously sculpted coat-of-arms over the central entrance. In late 2016, planning permission was granted for redevelopment of this listed building with an office addition to the rear for the Irish Stock Exchange.
