Residence for Ladies as part off Mary,Countess of Meath’s Brabazon House Company. Designed to be slightly more upmarket to the Brabazon House on Moreton Street.
When the First World War ended in 1918 the question arose of a suitable war memorial to Irish Presbyterians who had made the supreme sacrifice –
Intended as a Youth Hostel to be known as the George VI Memorial Foundation Hostel,
