Watching the GAA game last Sunday in the local bar, I overheard those old familiar gruntings from the gombeen-men behind me.
A lot of talk of “property development”, “investment opportunities” and “family housing” from the recently ungrounded hogs filling their bellies with pub grub.Looks like the shitters are back amongst us – frothing at the mouth at the chance of getting the EU quantitative easing cash from their friendly banker and screwing up the country all over again.
And why wouldn’t they ?
Not a single one of them did time.
And not a single law is there to prevent them. -
