      What’s the prospected building for the site behind Tara St. train station? I DO know that the anti-air society got it stunted by about 5 or 6 floors, but that’s all I know. What’s it goona be and how tall? It’s a big space, and it’s to be welcomed in still another run-down part of the inner city

      If you mean the office development in progress on George’s Quay, that is nothing to be welcomed. There is no provision for residential units, the design is unsophisicated and 10 years old, and was the until-now unrealised phase II of the office development on the quays themselves. Even its developers call it a ‘jailhouse’. THese architects aren’t the worst, but count the unfortunate Blackrock Shopping Centre among their credits.
