Dublin’s first observation tower opens in Smithfield Dublin City’s first observation tower opened today at Smithfield. It is located in the 170-foot James’ Distillery Chimney and provides visitors with a panoramic 365-degree un-obscured view of the city skyline. Does anyone think that the new pedestrian bridge across the Liffey will increase footfall in the Smithfield area?
