Salaries within the Industry?

Dear Paul,
Could you shed some light on a query that has been puzzling me for quiet some time now – What are the salary bands within Architectural Practices in Ireland for Architects, Architectural Technologists, etc?

In addition, are there any representative bodies, apart from the RIAI (as I think once they get your membership fee they are quite quick in forgetting about you), who are willing to represent & protect their members?
I have no idea… not being a part of the industry… might be a good piece of research to carry put on the site tho and publish the results… will design up a survey I think….
Good idea. It may also be interesting to include survey salaries/wages for students. “Archaos” is an student architectural website who have already done some surveys on the same subject
… and foreigns. My personal experience tells me that we get less money due to the lack of experience on “the irish way of building” and therefore reduce 1 or 2 years of experience on the cv’s even if we have other very good qualities!
