Ken Burns (Civil War etc) film on FLW
BBC ran this yesterday morning, -( was this for the first time ? – Bank Holiday Monday), with apparently no pre-publicity at all to draw attention to it.
It is a measure of the dumbing down of television is that major work it ran mid morning, not in evening peak on BBC 2 and billed as a film.
It may have been a cut down version too -there were some places where the narrative seemed to imply an earlier mention and some periods were not covered.
However it may have been the most interesting film on architecture to surface this year.
I did not spot it in time to post a notice here.
