      ‘Whose Landscape is it Anyway?’

      The 3rd Season of the Spring Lecture Series The aim of this free, public lecture series is to provide an opportunity for dialogue and education (CPD) around landscape design, construction and management for members of the ILI, members of related professions and people who are interested in or affected by the subject of the discussion.

      POWER IN THE LANDSCAPE
      Adrian Le Harivel, Curator of British and Dutch paintings at the National Gallery of Ireland discusses, with slides, representations of power sources in the landscape from C14th to C20th, with Notis Papasouliotis, Landscape Architect, framing an informed and objective assessment of the Visual Impact of Windfarms on the contemporary Irish landscape.

      HOLY SITEWORKS!
      SAP Landscapes Ltd won the Bog Oak Trophy – ALCI’s to award – two years running in ’98 and ’99 with Xilinx and St Fiacra’s Garden. In both cases they worked with Landscape Architect Martin Hallinan.
      Niall Grogan of SAP Landscapes Ltd, discusses with Martin Hallinan, their unique, unorthodox and highly successful implementation of St Fiacra’s Garden at the National Stud.

      2,4,6 MOTORWAY (ARTERIAL)
      Tom de Paor, Architect won the competition to design the A13 road corridor in North East London. He discusses, in a WORLD PREMIER, the choreography of the commuter and the corridor in his work in progress.

      EXPATRIATE EXOTICS
      Richard Webb, Landscape Architect, former Landscape Project Manager in Hong Kong, discuses his projects – ranging from new urban parks to old Banyan trees.
