Info on revised drawing

Hi all. I surely would be lost without this forum. In advance. I’d like to express my gratitude to all of you who’ve provided me and so many others with information on a range of planning matters.
If anything it serves to illustrate what a complex area this undoubtably is for countless people and I applaud you for giving so much to those that post here.If anyone has time, I just have a question regarding a revised drawing.
Basically, an appeal decision from An Bord Pleanala to a developer granted modified permission. However, the Board stipulated that a revised drawing was to be submitted to the LA for written agreement prior to commencement of the proposed development.
As I lodged a submission against this development and am eager to see the drawings before development commences, how may I know when these drawins are lodged with the LA?
Will a notice appear in a newspaper or is there any part of planning legislation that instructs the LA to inform me when these drawing are lodged with them.
It is a difficuly one and I apologise if I haven’t made it exactly clear.
if anyone needs more info or has an opinion that may advise me I’d very much appreciate it, thanks again.

I dont know what the situation is in this particular case where it involves a decision made by Bord Pleanala.
what i can tell you is that when an application is being processed by a Local Authority and revised drawings are submitted then anyone who has made a formal submission will be notified.
I have to say that this case is very unusual as it would appear that you will be unable to appeal against any revised design proposals
If you werent happy with the revised drawings i think you may be entitled to apply for leave to appeal

Thanks guys. I managed to view the revised drawing after all. Not as straightforward as I thought though. I had to severly pressurise the L.A with F.O.I.
I can tell you something, the planning process seriously needs to be reviewed, I am convinced that certain developments no matter who they affect will get through the system, whether they be unauthorised or not.

The problem is, buildings and services we all need every affected somebody when they were built. But nobaody cares as long as its not beside them. Nobody wants big developments on their backdoor, but we all look forward to the new shopping centre opening up, even if its on somebody elses backdoor.

You kind of took it out of context. Appeals have already been made by this stage. Its not like they can submit whatever they feel like and it gets the go ahead. the board probably granted the application with certain condions, for example they might of had to remove a story or two from the block. Once they do that in their drawings, It becomes just like any other grant of premission my an board pleanala.
