I am an archaeologist working in ireland and I am interested in doing a short introductory course in historical architecture.
      Can anyone suggest any courses?

      Gracer,

There is an introductory course run by the Department of History of Art in Trinity College. It is called Introduction to European Architecture. It is only on for two 1 hour sessions each week in the evenings.

There are more details about it here:

You could also join the Irish Georgian Society as they provide a lot of information, tours and lectures for their membership.
