There’s some fantastically unreal-looking building on the Dublin 2 end of Grand Canal Street, if I remember correctly. It has yellow brick and blue mirrored windows. I’m not in Dublin at the moment, so I can’t check if this building is something I’ve dreamt up or if it’s actually exists. It seems completely at odds with everything else in the city. Can someone confirm that there is such a building? What is it?

Sounds like the Treasury Building. Was one of the first big redevelopments in Dublin (redev of Boland’s Mills) – and was done at the height of a bad recession – it really kicked off that area in general as the south docklands never really figured in the IFSC-centric minds of people as aplaxce suitabler for large scale offices. It’s a very cool building and the statue of the woman climbing up the sheer wall is a nice touch.

      I’d recommend checking out http://www.treasuryholdings.ie
