I thought I should post this, as I feel it would be of interest to alot of people using these forums:
Forum for Irish Urban Studies (FIUS) seminar:
‘Transport in Dublin: contemporary challenges and future potential?’ which will
be held in the Museum Building, Trinity College on Wednesday 10th November at
5.30pm.
Two 25-minute papers will be presented at the seminar. The first speaker is Dr. James Killen , Senior Lecturer in the Dept. of Geography, Trinity College and the second speaker is Mr. John Henry , Director of the Dublin Transportation
Office.
To discuss and debate the topic further, a ‘questions and answers’ programme
will follow the 25-minute presentations. This will provide an opportunity for
considerable interaction between the speakers and the audience. Thereafter, we
shall adjourn to the Longstone Pub on Townsend St. to continue further
discussion.
We request that you register your intention to attend the seminar
by Wednesday 3rd November, to allow for the booking of a suitably sized room for
the event (contact details below).
We would appreciate it if you could send this invitation to others who may be
interested in attending the seminar but are not on our contact list. If you
have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Looking forward to seeing you there
