dissertation help please

I am currently studying architecture at the University of Liverpool having completed architectural technology at Bolton St., Dublin and at present Iam beginning to undertake researching and writing my dissertation for my final year scheduled to start this September.
I have chosen the broad topic of sustainability but I am hoping to examine sustainable housing level 6 for 2016. Kingspan recently designed level 6 houses for an exhibition in Watford. The lighthouse has been designed to meet the criteria of level 6 of the code for sustainable homes, the standard to which all homes have to be designed by 2016.
I was hoping to look at this topic in a number of different categories namely; design, technical design ( adopting to the climate) , solar gain and solar shading , selective thermal mass , wind catcher / light funnel , building services , construction , how to achieve level 6 .
I would be grateful if you could let me know your feelings on my proposed dissertation topic and also pass on all relevant information that you think might help.
