i think the portebello area has great streets; harrington st, synge street, grantham st and stamer street. a relatively quiet victorian residential enclave. palmerston road in rathmines also has a very dignified, gentile air about it. favourite square: great western square phibsboro, nothing fancy just a very pleasant spot
