Yup, tommyt- First to Fourth Avenues are off Seville Place. I’ve always liked the idea that someone lives in No.1 First Avenue, Dublin 1. But there’s no Fifth over there, alas.

I can’t recall precisely where I read it. Given your knowledge of these matters I was initially fearful that I might have dreamed it, but a colleague in work confirmed that he read the same thing recently. It might have been in Saturday’s Irish Times? Sorry I can’t remember. Could also have been a fashion story rather than a business/development one.

PS Re amusing street names- A friend of my mother’s used to live at 123 Easy Street in Athens, Georgia.
