to defend richmond road; it was a working street until recently with tool hire depots and wholesale warehouses, i actually quite like its residual muscularity and all the really worst places are hellish nowhere streets inside housing estates.

as for my favourite, the market streets are great and the obvious set pieces, like dawson street and gg north etc have well documented virtues, but how could anyone who lives in this city not pick the NCR; that great dublin adventure in a single road.
