i want to see if anyone can explain to me the reasoning behind this.
in galway county, specifically the town of loughrea. they have proposed a by-pass which they cpo’d last year or so…it’s starting on site soon seemingly. now normally this would make perfect sense cos it is a bottleneck. but now(well last week really) the have cpo’d the national primary route from ballinasloe to galway with a nice shiny dual carriageway which completely misses out loughrea. i don’t see the sense in wasting the money on the by-pass as really only locals will be using the old route now anyway so it won’t be a bottleneck anymore.
how can we waste millions like this? do the decision makers not talk to each other? how can such governmental department make such a fuck up in the distribution of donations from our eu partners.
