Interesting piece by David McWilliams in the Sunday BP a couple of weeks back on applying the rules of the property market to that of road users – that people should pay for consuming what is a limited resource at peak times, i.e roadspace – also higlighting that the taxes of people who use public transport are ploughed into roads for private transport etc.
