St. Colman’s has been under construction, or at least renovation, for over one hundred years.
The last large Roman Catholic cathedral to be built in Ireland, and quite possibly the oddest in design.

The main goal of the project was to create a new structure with a stronger identity and a more contemporary,
Galway City Museum was officially opened in April 2007. The building was designed by the Office of Public Works and is a Galway City Council initiative to advance the cultural and heritage life of Galway City.
On this project the challenge was how to build a drive though restaurant on a site just off the M6 motorway on the eastern edge of Galway City.
