A Cottage orné hunting lodge built for the the Earls of Kenmare and named after Queen Victoria’s Royal visit to Derrycunihy in 1861. The “Queen’s Cottage” was situated on the banks of the river providing ample spots for a summer picnic or to just enjoy the cascade and the adjoining pools. Now demolished.
