Stripped classical scheme for Dawson Street as a new headquarters for New Ireland Assurance. The secondary office block to Dawson Lane was largely built as roughly illustrated in this sketch. The illustration was published in 1946 in a brochure celebrating the 28 years of the company.

Eventually in 1964 a new office building on the site was completed with decorative elements based on Irish iconography. The company had wrapped itself in imagery from a real and imagined Irish celtic past from its start.
