The Prudential Plaza redevelopment project sparked new vitality for the immediate area with renovation of the existing 41-story One Prudential Plaza; construction of a new 64-story, 1.2 million square foot Two Prudential Plaza; design of a one-acre outdoor plaza; and a new five-level, underground parking garage. The two buildings share a common lobby and matching architectural elements at the entrance level. Two Prudential Plaza, the tallest reinforced concrete building in North America, has been honored with eight awards.
