From The Building News, April 26 1861: “This Chapel has been lately erected in Cold Harbor-lane,

1876 – Hamberg Lutheran Church, Dalston, London

Architect: Habershon & Brock

A Grade II listed church built for the Lutherans in 1876 as the Hamburg Lutheran Church in a German Gothic style to serve the community associated with the adjacent German Hospital.

1883 – Wesleyan Chapel, Stow Hill, Newport, Wales

Architect: W.G. Habershon

Now known as Bethel Community Church, and located on the elevated western side of Stow Hill,

William Gilbee Habershon was articled to his father, architect Matthew Habershon. He began practice in 1843 in St Neots, subsequently moving to London,
