But cubix, wouldn’t the things you like about it be so much more likable without the original faÃ§ades awkwardly positioned in front? Surely this is a powerful new building badly compromised by a faÃ§ade retention. In other-words, don’t you agree this would be better built elsewhere: again, Dublin is not short of brown field sites that could take a substantial powerful building, it is just that this isn’t one and the shoehorning of a distinctive modern building into the site leaves something that is awkward and inelegant, but which still requires considerable vandalism.
