It’s unfortunately prevalent throughout. I actively refuse to give money to beggars with “irish citizen” on their cardboard or taxi drivers who flaunt the “irish taxi driver” card. The same people bemoan the fact that “our poor wee ones” have to leave the country and go to find work elsewhere. I bet the poor wee ones are treated better in those countries than the “fuck off back (to) where you came from” attitude their counterparts get here.
