Mightn’t be advisable to have this done as a nixer. If it’s grant approved, it’s going to need certification at the end to state that it’s in compliance with Planning (unless it’s exempt) and Building Regulations. Check with whoever is providing the grant what they will require in terms of certification at the end of the job and then look for someone who can give you that level of service, and make sure they have PI as this will be a requirement for grant purposes. There isn’t any such thing as a small job anymore, this might require planning permission which would entail a full survey of the house and site, preparation of the sketch scheme ( 2options ?) then preparation of planning drawings etc. aswell as any certification which might be required. I don’t think you’ll get that for € 800 – € 1200.
