Reply To: Life as an Architectural Technician__For or Against????

Thats a difficult one. I too am in my final year as an architectural technology student wondering whether or not it is a good idea to pursue architecture or to remain a technician. The thoughts of endless hours in front of a computer screen drawing is not the most appealing prospect. I hear UCD and DIT have adopted a new admissions policy and will only accept people into first year no matter what previous architectural training they may have. Maybe its different in Queens!
