if you redraw or reprint the original plans you could very well be in breach of copyright by the original designer and could be open to being sued….. to be honest it sounds like your client (builder) is using you as a puppet…. i mean no offence here…… i would be very careful if i was you, it sounds like you have no experience in preparing planning applications, it could be a very troubled project for you to undertake……
