1943 – Restaurant, Amiens Street Station, Dublin
During the Second World War, materials for new construction was sometimes scarce but Great Northern Railways saw fit to create this new buffet restaurant within their Dublin terminus. Its clean modern lines contrasted greatly with the original polychomatic brickwork of the station platforms. Survived until the 1990’s renovation of the station.
