Architect: J.D. Postma

0083

One of the industrial alcohol factories constructed for Monarcaí Alcoil na h-Éireann by the Irish Government. The architect Jan Diederik Postma was Dutch, and the factories were among the earliest industrial buildings in the International Modern style in Ireland with their flat roofs and metal framed windows. Several were constructed in Donegal along with modern housing for managers at Labbodish and Convoy by Eoghan Buckley and John O’Gorman.
