Still one of the finest Victorian bars in Dublin, Ryan’s listed interior has been shamefully abused over the years. The wonderful horseshoe central bar was cropped for more floor space. This harms the way the bar was designed to work as there are now blind spots where a single barman cannot comfortably watch for orders from the entire bar. The mirrors and woodwork are still impressive, and the snugs are wonderful.
