The first building completed by Heneghan.Peng, who have been successful in many competitions including one to design a new museum at Giza in Egypt. Designed to hold civic offices and built on the site of an old military barracks. Here a footpath leads directly into an interior dominated by a switchback ramp which leads you floor by floor through all the council’s services.

àras Chill Dara was awarded in the RIBA European Awards 2006, and was described as a project “developed with singular confidence and brio.”
