Beautiful church with a wonderful tower, the United Westminster Church is a great example of English Gothic by John H.G. Russell, a leading Winnipeg architect of his day. Dominating its immediate neighbourhood, the building’s composition is subtly balanced with the taller tower’s design reflected in the shorter one. Although the nave of the church is not as tall as expected, the height of the tower gives the building a considerable presence.
