revitalizing industrial buildings
Take an industrial building dating from, say, 1912, in good condition, located in a small European town 5 minutes walk from the centre, the industry has moved out some... 6 years ago... http://www.online.ee/~hirvesoo/pm.htm
How to revitalize the structure in a way that the visual diversity and spirit would remain? Multifunctional centre for exhibitions, shows, shopping, business? Would people live there? Would YOU?

first get a slightly eccentric structural engineer
then watch a movie set in a crackhouse and listen to 'joe's garage' by zappa
