I find the war memorial park very uncomfortable to be in – it feels very exposed. I love walking along the shelbourne hotel side of Stephen’s Green. It’s the one long straight walk in the park, and the quality of the light changes hugely from season to season. A kind of vertical green in Summer and a sparse grey in Winter. I love the corner treatment beside Wolfe Tone too – I hope they aren’t changing that with the current work …
