Taylor & Gordon

Andrew Thomas Taylor (1850-1937) was a leading architect in Montreal during the last two decades of the 19th century. From 1883 to 1904 before he returned to England. He practiced as Taylor & Gordon, Montreal, from 1883 onwards with George W. Gordon. Gordon remained based in London, England.
Became Taylor, Hogle & Davis in 1904, When A.T. Taylor left Canada in April 1904 to return to England, Hogle and Davis inherited the practise. They devoted much of their career to the design of branches of the Merchants Bank of Canada, located in every province from Alberta through to Quebec.
