Percy Goddard Stone (1856-1934)

Percy Goddard Stone was born in London in 1856 the son of Coutts Stone, also an architect, and was educated at Rugby School. He served his apprenticeship with George Devey in London from 1875 to 1878 thereafter moving as assistant to Sir William Emerson and assisted with the Takhtsinghi Hospital in India. He entered into partnership with his father in 1879, remaining in London until the late 1890s when he moved to the Isle of Wight where he died on 21 March 1934.
