Main body of church constructed between 1897 and 1903 by Walter G.
Architectural partnership between Lucius O’Callaghan a son of J.J. O’Callaghan, and James H. Webb from 1908. In 1919 Louis Giron became a partner although the firm continued as O’Callaghan & Webb. In 1931 Webb left to practise on his own and the name changed to O’Callaghan & Giron.
